A 2013 Calendar…at Last!

It's still early, but I've had a difficult time finding a good calendar to hang on the wall next to our iMac. During 2012, my calendar featured vintage science fiction/fantasy magazine covers from the 1930s through the 1950s. In the past, I've had baseball calendars and superheroes. Several weeks ago, I spotted a calendar that would be perfect for my office at work. That features vintage Marvel Comics covers from 1960s and 1970s.

But for homenothing.

That was until lunch this afternoon. Since the weather was perfect and very few people remained in the office, I decided to drive down to Barnes and Noble in Naperville. Honestly, I wasn't looking to purchase a calendar today. My goal was to gather ideas for Christmas gifts. Plenty of new baseball books lined the shelves. I drifted through the games and walked by the calendars. Nothing. Just puppies, kittens and a load of Twilight calendars.

The Art of Star Wars Comics. We had a winner.

I have a hard time buying calendars before the end of the year. Seems a waste to buy it and then 3 weeks later it is half-price. LOL Looks like a good one.
