MLB 2014 Game #4: Cubs vs. BrewersAfter work today, we are headed north to Milwaukee's Miller Park to witness a battle of first and worst in the National League Central. During spring training, if you told me that the Milwaukee Brewers (32-22, .593) would have a three-game lead over the St. Louis Cardinals (29-25, .537) at the end of May, I wouldn't have believed you. Sure enough, that's reality. If you also told me that the Chicago Cubs (19-32, .373) would have the worst record baseball, I wouldn't have been surprised.
Tonight's game is a rematch of the game we attended on May 18 at Wrigley Field. Travis Wood (5-4, 4.35 ERA) will start for the Cubs. The Brewers will answer with Marco Estrada (4-2, 3.98 ERA). The Cubs are currently on a two-game skid and are 10 games under .500 on the road this season. The Brewers enter action this evening enjoying a two-game winning streak and are five games over .500 at Miller Park.
