Under the lights that night, Craig took a 2-0 lead into the fifth inning. He posted home runs in the bottom of the second and fourth innings. With his back against the wall, Bill sent two pitches over the fence to force extra innings. Both players hung zeroes on the scoreboard until the ninth inning. Bill homered twice in the top of the ninth inning to claim a 4-2 lead. His four unanswered blasts were all he needed since Craig failed to score in the bottom of the ninth. Bill struck out Craig three times while Craig recorded two.
