MLB 2010 Game #4: Cardinals vs. Cubs

Today, Susan and I are headed to Wrigley Field to see the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals. This is my second all National League Central Division game of the week. Not too bad. Currently, the Cardinals are in second place and trail the Cincinnati Reds by one game. The Cubs have been winning as of late, but are in third place and six games behind the Reds.

The pitchers for today's game are Adam Ottavino (0-0, 0.00), a recent minor league call up for the Cardinals, and Carlos Silva (6-0, 3.52) for the Cubs. Silva has been the pitching surprise of the season for the Cubs. As part of the Milton Bradley trade, Silva has been the team's most consistent pitcher of the year.

Here's the final boxscore.

bottom of the 7th and 11K so far. this is the first time all year i wish i was at wrigley. beautiful day for baseball.

Wasn't that game on television on FOX NETWORK? Were Bill and his wife on television. Bill should have carried a sign with HUMZOO on it.

Yes, it was on Fox. I thought about bringing a Humzoo, but I didn't.
