Coming Soon: Tales From the Links

I just returned home from a golf outing fundraiser in Naperville, Illinois. We played 18 holes in quite possibly the windiest conditions I've ever played in. The fundraiser was for the Chicagoland Chapter of Engineers Without Borders. Their goal was to raise funds for a flood mitigation project in Las Cruces, Guatemala. Some crazy things happened while out on the links today.

As I sat down to write a blog for this evening, I realized that I haven't shared too many golf stories on my blog. They have mainly centered around baseball. Once the MLB playoffs conclude and a World Series champion is crowned, I'll start posting some tales from the links.

I have too many ideas floating around in my head at the moment, but one of the funniest moments happened today. One of the guys in my foursome teed off and drilled a guy in a golf cart. I know it sounds cruel, but it was absolutely hysterical. But you know, that's a blog for another day.

Sounds like another great chapter! Looking forward to it...when baseball is done. :)

Of course. I don't want to wish away late-September and October baseball yet.
