Back on the Course

Today, I had a chance to golf in an event for one of our clients. What a great outing. It's a fundraiser for a local park district zoo. The event consists of lunch, 18 holes of golf and a dinner to wrap it up. The best part of the day was that temperatures did not reach 100. In fact, I don't even think they reached the 90s.

With all of the dry, hot weather this summer, I haven't hit the course as much as I would have liked. Regardless, it was nice to play on a beautiful green course this afternoon. I almost witnessed a hole-in-one, too. One of the golfers in my foursome hit the flag and the ball dropped about one foot from the hole. Very cool. I haven't seen a live hole-in-one since 1990.

Nope. Here's a blog about my almost-hole-in-one. http://www.humzoo.com/billpearch/blog/662/
