Before the Boston Red Sox played at Fenway Park, they called Huntington Avenue Grounds home. This was the site of the first World Series game. Now, the site is on the campus of Northeastern University. The Red Sox were simply called the Americans back then, and they played the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1903 World Series.
