I was introduced to the world of Apple back in third grade. We used the Apple II Plus. I've been a fan ever since.

I think what Apple does for schools is great. That's a pretty cool looking system for "back then".

We've always used only Apple probably because Steve and I were both teachers and the schools here used only Apple. We love Apple products!

Because of the Divide between Education and Industry, I was never given the opportunity to use Apple Products, except on a very limited basis. As Apple Products were being used in Education, Industry was using the old TRS-80 (Trash-80) from Radio Shack and a variety other brands because until it was almost too late IBM failed to realize the future of Personal Computers.

I also had a Commodore 64 at home, but that was exclusively for games.

As long as you are remembering antigue home computers, I will throw another out for consideration and that is the Texas Instrument 99-4A. The company that I worked for made the keyboards for this little product and all of the employees were able to obtain one of them for next to nothing. Before we got into the keyboard business, we also made switches for the Atari Games that had four switches in a console.
